I started out learning how to break dance from my cousins when I was about 7 years old. At 9 years old I started to get serious with dancing. I started taking intermediate hip hop classes with Jimmy "Jett" Tillis, a choreographer for NJ Nets dancers, back up dancer for Remy Ma, Ashanti, and Omarion. I made the performance advanced class at age 12 at Starlight Dance Studios and was one of the youngest to be accepted. At 13 years old I started choreographing my own dances and became a "Nets Kids Dancer" in the 7th grade. The next year I joined a Jersey dance crew "Project D" and performed at NJPAC, entered in a competition for "The Main Event" and performed at Rutgers University. At the age of 16 I began taking classes at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. I was inspired and introduced to the top hip hop choreographers such as Jed Florano and Jun Quemado from Team Millenia, Phil Tayag from the Jabbawockeez, Luam from Broadway Dance, GiGi Torres, Brian Puspos from SoREAL Cru, and Jonathan Lee. Some of my achievements have been winning SOULJERZ dance crew's DANCE BATTLE at Club Abyss, winning in "DanceByNature in California" with Project D Crew and performing with the top choreographers. I am a teenager who just loves dancing. I have been inspired and am determined to show kids out there what dance is all about.
